Trustlane Automotive is a locally owned and operated automotive service center in Salinas, CA, and we are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. If you take pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and working in a shop that values technicians, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

Location: Work takes place in Salinas, CA, serving customers throughout Monterey County. Candidates commuting from surrounding areas such as Monterey, Seaside, Marina, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Greenfield, Soledad, Prunedale, Watsonville, Gilroy, Hollister, or King City are encouraged to apply.

Compensation
$65,000 – $100,000+ per year (based on experience and performance)

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends

What You’ll Do
• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete inspections and clearly document findings
• Recommend needed repairs and maintenance services
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards
• Communicate professionally with service advisors and customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and technical skills
• Automotive certification or formal technical training preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
• Valid driver’s license
